We had a wonderful trip down to North Carolina. Bonnie was upbeat and enjoyed the ride. When she got tired she slept in the middle row of our Honda Odyssey. We skipped out just ahead of the snow in Cambridge. We stopped at the most amazing granite fabrication plant. We picked out our next granites and I toured the plant. They have machines that blast a needle of water under such high pressure that the water cuts granite and can mill it to shapes entered in by AutoCad. Now we need a house in which to put our next granite counters and sculpted granite sink.
We had a fun Birthday for Bonnie on Sunday with both of her children and our grandson's Zac and Luc. Bonnie faded the next day. Bonnie was felled by a low fever and sore throat on Wednesday. By Thursday night, we had to call DFCI and page her doctor. Her fever rose to over 101.5 - a full degree higher than the "go to the emergency room and get admitted level".
