Have you ever seen that commercial for Florida vacations that shows a lot of cars with flat tires? Vacationers blow those tires backing out of car rental returns when they decided at the last minute to stay in Florida a few more days. I’m feeling a bit like that. On Wednesday night I felt I wasn’t quite ready to go in the hospital. I wrote my doc to ask if I could enter Monday April 3rd instead. Just a few more days. . .
I will go in on Monday and get my Hickmann line installed first thing on Tuesday morning. Presumably they’ll start the chemo drip shortly after that.
Life is good here. We’ve spent some time with our Cambridge offspring. Our “baby Jackson” is now an accomplished toddler Jackson. See more pictures of our latest visit with him in the albums on the right.
We are looking forward to our weekend on the EDS campus, seeing friends and family here, and packing for hospital.
