This a picture of Bonnie one week before she fell and cracked her cheekbone, producing a small brain hemorrhage, and requiring CPR during her intubation in Southport, NC.

Bonnie has survived 6 years of MDS > AML thanks to Peter Greenburg MD, Stephen Coutre MD, Richard Stone MD and Corey Cutler MD.
Bonnie is currently 2 years 4 months post Bone Marrow Transplant.

Bonnie is recovering from Chronic Graft vs. Host Disease, which is now being successfully managed by Nelson Chao MD at Duke BMT Clinic.

Bonnie suffered NO brain damage, and she is mentally and emotionally committed to her full recovery, again. She is doing OT and PT in Pender Hospital.

But Bonnie needs orthopedic surgery to remove her dead toes and physical rehabilitation, and OT / PT that is coordinated with orthopedic surgery.

We need to move to Duke University Medical Center for Orthopedic Surgery and to complete Bonnie's Physical Rehabilitation.
